1. Agreement

By creating an account, submitting an entry, voting, or using SelfieQueen, you agree to these Terms, the Contest Rules, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms, together with the Rules and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding SelfieQueen, unless a later written agreement expressly amends them.

2. Operator

SelfieQueen is operated by AAAHAR Software Services Inc. (“Operator”), British Columbia, Canada. Contact: support@selfiequeen.com.

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec and any other jurisdiction where the contest is prohibited) who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Additional eligibility rules for a specific competition — including insider and sponsor exclusions — are published on the Rules page.

4. Accounts

Access is passwordless. Requesting a one-time email code creates or opens an account tied to your email address. You must be at least 18 to request a code or create an account. You are responsible for the security of your email inbox. Codes expire in about 10 minutes; you may request a new code subject to rate limits. Do not share codes with others.

The Operator may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Rules, or applicable law, or that create security, fraud, or abuse risk. Suspension or termination may remove access to pending entries and voting.

5. Entries, photos, and publicity licence

By submitting an entry, you confirm that you are 18+, that the image is your own (or you have all rights needed to submit and display it), that you have permission from every identifiable adult shown, that no person under 18 appears in the photograph, and that the content complies with the Rules. You are solely responsible for third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, and publicity rights in your submission.

You grant the Operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, resize, crop, format, and promote your entry on SelfieQueen and official SelfieQueen channels in connection with the competition, moderation, winner announcements, and platform marketing. You retain ownership of your image, subject to this licence.

Entries may not be fully AI-generated images; images of a synthetic or fictitious person; face-swapped images; or images that substantially replace or reconstruct the entrant’s identity using generative AI. The Operator may reject an entry where authenticity cannot reasonably be verified.

Licence duration and withdrawal:

• For pending entries: the licence lasts while we store and review the entry. If rejected or withdrawn before public display, we will stop public use and delete or restrict the file subject to retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
• For approved gallery entries: the licence lasts while the entry is publicly displayed. After a valid withdrawal or take-down request, we will remove the entry from public SelfieQueen pages within a reasonable time. Copies that already appeared in caches, search indexes, screenshots, or third-party shares may persist outside our control.
• For confirmed winners: the licence continues for winner-profile and related promotional materials for the life of the SelfieQueen platform, subject to applicable law, valid privacy requests, safety concerns, and continued operation of the service. Absolute permanence is not guaranteed.
• Previously published promotional materials (for example announcement posts already distributed) may remain as historically published materials even after withdrawal, except where removal is required by law or a valid privacy request we can reasonably fulfill.

6. Moderation

The Operator may approve, reject, hide, remove, or disqualify entries that break the Rules, appear fraudulent, or raise safety, privacy, or legal concerns. Pending and rejected entries are not shown publicly.

7. Voting and winner selection

Voting and winner selection follow the published Contest Rules for each competition, including scoring method, voting limits, fraud handling, and prize details. Public voting may be monitored and adjusted or discarded if fraud is detected.

8. Prizes

Prize details for each live competition are published on that competition’s contest page and materials. The Founding Crown prize includes promotional recognition (winner profile, interview, digital badge, and official-channel placement) plus The Founding Crown Beauty Collection — a curated collection of premium beauty, skincare and fragrance gifts provided by SelfieQueen. No cash prize or cash alternative is offered unless required by applicable law. Collection contents are selected at the Operator’s discretion; naming a brand does not imply that brand’s sponsorship unless separately announced. Prizes are awarded only as described. Taxes, if any, are the winner’s responsibility unless stated otherwise.

SelfieQueen does not guarantee views, followers, business opportunities, sponsorships, or other commercial results from participation or winning.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not upload unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, stolen, misleading, or unsafe content; attempt to manipulate voting; create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage; bypass security controls; or misuse other people’s personal information.

10. Third-party platforms and links

SelfieQueen may link to or be promoted on third-party sites or platforms (for example Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook). Those platforms are not operated by us. Where a competition is promoted on a third-party platform, the competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with that platform, except as that platform’s own terms may require us to state. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or participation in a competition. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure by the Operator to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Courts located in British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material competition terms will not be changed during an active competition in a manner that materially disadvantages existing eligible entrants, except where reasonably necessary to comply with law, address fraud or security issues, preserve fair administration, or respond to circumstances beyond the Operator’s reasonable control. Material changes will be prominently disclosed.
